Beginner Permanent Makeup/Softap Method

This very popular course is for a beginner who wishes to enter into the permanent makeup field using the Softap method.

This is a 100-hour course which includes 35 hours of home study. This course covers blood borne pathogens, familiarization with hand tools and needles, eyeliner techniques for both lash enhancement and wider liners, powder fill eyebrows, hair stroke eyebrows, an overview of topical numbing creams and gels, color theory, business practices, and sterilization and sanitation habits. You will get hands on training by working on live models. You will receive a Certificate of Completion directly from Softap and Collett Academy and a separate certification for blood borne pathogens training.

Tuition for this course: $3500 for 5 days or $4500 for 6 days. In addition to the tuition, books are $200, Also, you will need to take an online blood borne pathogens test for $30 and a Color Theory online prep course which is $75.

A business start-up kit is included with a value of $600. This kit contains pigments, needles, numbing topical and all of the necessary tools, supplies, and paperwork to begin your new business.

Which one do I take, the 5 or the 6 day???

 

** If you are currently a licensed esthetician, nail technician or cosmetologist, you will take the 5 day course. If you are new to the industry and you are without a prior license or certification, you would take the 6 day course.

 

This course, the Beginner Permanent Makeup Course or the Beginner Microblade Course must be taken before any of the Add On courses can be taken unless you already have a beginner certification and have met all of the requirements of a beginner course.
